It's still freezing cold here, but I managed to make it out for a few hours in the afternoon for some errands. I stopped by the local co-op and picked up some fresh foods so I could come home and make a pot of stew.
Here's what I used:
2 cans chicken stock, some extra water
Three roma tomatoes
Couple of handfuls of fresh okra
Freshly chopped mushrooms
1 onion
2 garlic cloves
1 package of organic lamb stew meat
(All ingredients organic as could find....)
It was a fantastic stew! And I am full, and happy. :-)
